Our custom made Lectern is made from select Walnut, Gaboon Ebony, and dyed veneers. It can be purchased with a flat top, as shown, or with the traditional angled top. This lectern is an example of quality heirloom furniture at its best. The upper cross has inlaid veneers, and is housed in a brick stacked circle for aesthetics and strength, and it functions structurally as the upper stretcher. The lower cross functions as the lower stretcher for structure and stability, and is a shouldered wedged-through tenon. The wedge timber is Gaboon Ebony, which gives a contrasting presentation of warmth and beauty. The feet are attached via drawerbore mortise and tenon joinery, which are plugged with Gaboon Ebony to add to the overall contrasting design of Walnut and Gaboon Ebony. The finish is an oil-varnish blend with wax, producing a satin sheen to give a warm, silk like feel, inviting to the touch.

Our one of a kind heirloom Walnut Lecterns are great for churches, cathedrals, public establishments, traveling pastors, or evangelists. Our Lecterns load easily into most SUVs, minivans, or full size trucks.

Our Heirloom Quality Lecterns are a made-to-order product. However, we can usually have your beautiful Lectern ready for shipment/delivery within four weeks, based on shop load.
